The rescue!!! After three years of tedious treatments for my anaemia, my haemoglobin stubbornly remained at 80. For the past two years, this particular iron supplement has enabled me to maintain my haemoglobin at 140. I know my headaches and frozen shoulder during menstruation stem from iron deficiency, so I've started taking this. Although it's too early to gauge the effect, I have noticed some black stools and mild discomfort. I plan to continue using it during my periods in hopes of alleviating my symptoms.
